Frequently Asked Questions
1. What delivery options are available for your lessons?
Once purchased you can download the lessons at anytime from your My Account page. Your download access is good for 3 months from the date of purchase. The files are in pdf format which requires the Adobe Reader. Visit Adobe's web site to download the reader.
2. Why is my credit card statement showing PartnerUp Associates as the billing firm?
Our parent company ParterUp Associates, Inc. owns and operates this web site.
3. Does your option basic and advanced strategies course cover options trading in Australia or Europe?
The lessons are generic and teach you about options trading. All examples and option symbols used are from the US markets. We do discuss the different options excercise styles i.e. American and European and the difference between the two. However, we do not cover anything that is specific to markets outside the United States.
4. Do I have to enter my own trades in the OTL Options Pit?
OTL Options Pit allows you to track your own trades and display them to other members. This is an optional feature and provided as an additional learning tool. Your trades will be paper traded by our automated system. Only share your trading positions with the other members if you feel comfortable doing so.
5. Do you close your positions if the stock closes the day at your profit or cut loss price? Or do you close it if the intra-day price hits one or the other price?
We follow our own rules laid out in both our lessons. We set the profit and cut loss price and stick to them during the trading day. If you wait until the close it could either go down further or go up more. Either move could magnify our loss if the trade is moving against us.
6. I wish to stop the automated billing of my credit card for OTL Options Pit, how can I do this?
You will need to Login into your account. Then click on the "Buy New or Edit Subscription" menu option. Then click on the Stop my subscription upon expiration link. Your subscription will continue until the current expiration date. At which time it will not be renewed.
